Notes: Beats the helloutamee where this came from. One of the early ones, and introduction of my "sampler" to my new recorder.
lyrics
Wondrous Spirit
Can't you fuckin' hear it
the sound of the telephone
not ringing?
The man to my left
appears to be deaf
How is it that he hears
my singing?
The bond of class
The olive branch
The loving look
The subtext of a book
The words unterstood
but left unsaid
Does it continue
when we're dead?

Instruments: I recorded the main track of vocals on the Playskool recorder and sampled it over and over live by tapping the play button on beat. Then there's the drums on the tough guy set and another vocal track. "Does it continue..." is another sample I recorded on the playskool toy and then overdubbed. God I love this four-track technology!
